Katleena in English

I’m a professional keynote speaker and author of more than 40 non-fiction books. My main areas of expertise are crisis communications, social media presence, personal branding and bad English.

I’m known to give both entertaining and informational keynotes, mostly in Finnish. When I give talks in English, I don’t want the audience to focus on my bad pronunciation, but on me being almost-entertaining and semi-informational in a normal Finnish way.

If you’d like to see me speaking at your congress or event, please contact my Chief (and only) Account Manager Mr. Antti Mustakallio, antti@eiootootta.fi.

I’ve won several prizes that I’m grateful about. In 2012 one of my books won The Golden Feather which is given to the best marketing book in Finland yearly. In 2014 my other book won The Silver Feather which doesn’t sound nearly as good. My blog was the most popular communication and marketing blog in Finland in the year 2014 – but apparently not anymore. I’ve been listed in some top-20 lists of speakers and even tweeters in Finland. I also got the national Non-Fiction Writer Award in 2018.

Let’s go to the fun facts: One of my hobbies is viking fencing with steel sword, wooden shield and chain mail. I also happen to be face blind so I rarely recognize even my own kids – a fact that they abuse ruthlessly. Our dog, called Neponen, is the most stupid animal on the planet so that’s why we don’t pay Finnish dog tax. Neponen is specialized in running against the wall holding a frisbee in her teeth.
